As a HR Officer, you will be responsible for delivering Level 1 ER, guidance and advice to employees and managers. Your keen eye for detail will ensure that the HR data system relating to your ER cases and all employee records are maintained accurately.

Main Duties and Areas of Responsibility

- Delivering Level 1 ER support, advice and guidance to employees and management on HR policy, processes, and procedures, working in partnership with colleagues to ensure all Service Level expectations are achieved

- Seeking guidance on more complex issues from the HR Business Partner ensuring that risks to the business are escalated where appropriate

- Providing HR systems administration

- Ensuring the HR data systems relating to your ER cases are maintained accurately and in line with requirements

- Striving to deliver service excellence, supporting the continuous improvement of HR policy and processes

- Guiding management teams on employee relations and HR issues in line with Company policies and best practice up to Level 1 ER

Person Specification

- Ideally, at least 6 months experience of generalist HR or HR Admin experience gained within a fast-moving, ideally retail, environment

- Good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at different levels

- Ability to respond under pressure in a complex environment, whilst managing a high and diverse workload

- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy; ensures facts are correct, complete, and consistent

- Understanding of how to handle, resolve, and escalate enquiries

- Strong organisation skills to ensure that fluctuating levels of work in an environment of change are managed calmly, accurately and delivered to deadlines
