Service Designer (Networks)

Polar Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of a prestigious international IT client for a Service Designer (Networks) who will join the existing team and will be tasked with supporting network services design and costing activities.

This is a junior-intermediate level position, and would suit a candidate with a strong understanding of network/cisco services with previous experience in a Pricing Analyst, Commercial Analyst, Junior Service Designer/Architect or similar position.

This position will be based in Hatfield, commutable from Luton, St Albans, Stevenage, Welwyn, Hertford, Harlow, Cheshunt, Enfield, Hemel Hempstead, Watford etc.

Responsibilities

The Service Designer (Networks) will be responsible for:

* Providing advisory and support function within Network Services to peers, sales, service management, design, and customers.

* Participate in Network Services projects

* Provide cost models/quotations for network services/solutions.

* Develop and maintain relationships with peers and customers

* Provide costing of designs and adjusts cost models as required to ensure they are competitive / commercially viable

Skills & Experience

* Previous experience in similar position, supporting network services design / costing activities.

* Excellent knowledge of Cisco product and service offerings

* Able to create cost models / quotes using production / vendor tools

* Excellent written and verbal communication and customer service skills.
