About this recruiter

· Working closely alongside Business Analyst and technical leads to develop or extend functionality with Equation Programs. The position will play a key role in ensuring that need for enhanced Equation functionality is met


· Understand functional requirements and should be able to develop technical design using standard patterns and be able to communicate the same effectively to the team members.

· Should have very good technical problem solving skills.

· Analyse and identify gaps in functional/business requirement and should be able to effectively communicate with both

· Business and Functional analysts on the same.

· Should be able to assess the impacts on technical design because of the changes in functional requirements.

· Should be able to perform independent code reviews and execute unit tests on modules developed by self and other junior team members on the project.

· Good experience in RPG Development environment

· Should have experience in integration and Configuration

Essential Knowledge & Experience

· At least 4-5 years of Equation experience

· Must have done ITP

· Should be able to setup reports in Equation

· Should have knowledge of Control files for deployment and understanding of how to setup input function

· How to add changes and support End of day

· Should be able to understand the User exits write code for it

· Should have clear understanding of Equation API structures and should be able to write new APIs

· What is the difference between various API naming conventions e.g. H56HSR, X56HMR etc.

· Should know about Additional Equation information and how to add at customer level, account level etc.

· Should have clear verbal and written communication skills in English
