Location: Basildon, Essex

Salary: £8.79 per hour

Temporary/ Full Time - Rotating shift pattern including weekend work

Our client based in Basildon are currently seeking confident and professional Helpdesk Agents to join their fast and growing team.

Job Responsibilities

Helpdesk is the team that offers a help and support service to Merchants (shops, restaurants) that use the card machines (in-store chip and pin machines), transactional queries, not technical.

* Inbound and outbound calls, which are predominantly routine, but may require deviation from standard screens, scripts, and procedures.

* Handles client service enquiries and problems via the telephone.

* May answer enquiries and resolve problems.

* May receive and respond via mail, fax or email

Scope of Job

* Uses computerised system for tracking

* Information gathering, and/or troubleshooting

* Uses established procedures, but have the ability to deviate when needed, and requires only general supervision

Autonomy

* Performs work that is varied and that may be somewhat difficult in character, but usually involves limited responsibility.

* Some evaluation, originality or ingenuity is required.

A driving licence is ideally needed for this role due to location of the business
