.Net Developer with strong TDD and CI/CV Practises experience is required by globally recognised organisation based in London.

The main function of a Software Engineer is to design, develop, implement, test, and maintain business and computer applications software or specialised utility Programmes including mainframe and client/server applications, and major enhancement of existing systems.

Key skills required

* Experienced with Microsoft tech stack (E)

* C#, SOLID, Clean Code, DI, TDD, BDD (E)

* Some exposure to CI/CD practices (one or more of: AWS/Azure/Jenkins/Concourse/Terraform) (E)

* Experienced with .NET framework and/or .NET core (E)

* Working knowledge of SQL server (E)

* Experienced using Git (E)

* Understanding of SOA / Microservice principles (D)

* Working knowledge of XML(E) & XSLT(D)

* Understanding of Containers (D)

Key Responsibilities/Duties (what will the candidate be doing)

* Fine-tune and improve a variety of sophisticated software implementation projects

* Gather and Analyse system requirements, document specifications, and develop software solutions to meet client needs and data

* Analyse and review enhancement requests and specifications

* Implement system software and customise to client requirements

* Prepare the detailed software specifications and test plans

* Code new Programmes to client's specifications and create test data for testing

* Modify existing Programmes to new standards and conduct unit testing of developed programs

* Create migration packages for system testing, user testing, and implementation

* Provide quality assurance reviews

* Perform post-implementation validation of software and resolve any bugs found during testing

Soft Skills:

* Good verbal communication. (E)

* Experienced working in a team-orientated, collaborative environment (Scrum / Agile). (E)

* Comfortable with pair programming and knowledge sharing. (E)
