FINTEC recruit is seeking a Design Manager/Designer, this is a permanent position based in Peterborough, salary £45,000 plus benefits. Able to develop innovative and cost effective new products, designs and modifications. Working with internal and external designers to discharge any planning conditions for buildings.

Responsibilities:

Manage the design team for projects and provide product design and technical support for internal an external customersManage Specifiers, CAD technicians and support staffProvide technical support and expert advice during bid submissionsLiaise with Central Procurement and provide technical advice on product/material suitabilityPromote and develop Company BIM strategyCo-ordinate design processes for buildingsTechnical backup and expertise to operations and contracts departments.Skills and Experience required for the Design Manager role:

Knowledge of Design and Management Regulations (CDM) 2015Full working knowledge of Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD. Revit is an advantageExpertise in building design and a good knowledge of materials/construction methodsHNC qualified in a building/design related subject as a minimumFull information on the Design Manager/Designer is available on application.
