Effectively manage the tender process, ensuring all Pre-Qualification Questionnaire and Tender responses are produced to the highest possible standard, with absolute accuracy, and are submitted on time, every time.

Work collaboratively with the business to implement contracts once awarded and drive continuous improvement in our tendering process.

Play an active role in the wider Pricing team, embracing change and supporting new initiatives.

Maintain relationships with key individuals at all levels, both internally (Sales, Marketing, BU leaders) and externally (Procurement in Trusts and Hubs).

A Day in the Life

Tendering & Contracting

Total management of the tender process, including expression of interest in forthcoming contract opportunities, completion of Pre-Qualification Questionnaires, and high-quality Tender submissions, in a timely mannerManage tender preparation as a project, tracking and coordinating contributions from other teamsRespond to all Tender enquiries originating from both the MDT businesses and the purchasing bodyProcess new contract awards and contract extensionsMaintain repository of best-in-class responses, and seek to continuously raise the bar for quality in our tender submissions

Partnering & Strategic Management of Contracts

Produce usage reports to confirm contracted volumes have been met before changing pricesBusiness partner with all operational teams within the organizationImplement new contracts in our systems, and work with commercial teams and customers to ensure smooth onboardingAttend tender debrief meetings, and record win/loss information for later analysisAd hoc tasks, projects and work as neededMust Haves

Experience in tendering in a commercial environment Good organizational skills and priority management; able to juggle multiple tasks Ability to build strong and credible relationships with stakeholders at all levels Strong IT skills, particularly Excel Conscientious, with strong focus on quality of work and good eye for detail Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Analytical mindset & problem-solving skills Self-motivated, ambitious and positive Outgoing and friendly, with a "can do" attitude Able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines Inquisitive, and open to new ideas and ways of working
