Description:
We are a large award-winning organisation who have recently launched our first retail location in the Peterborough City Centre.

This is our new customer-facing head office for the business and will house the sales and customer service team who will be available to discuss with customers, both current and new, the different products and services that we offer.

We are located just off Cathedral Square, an attractive area with a high footfall.

The team working from this store are the face and voice of our company and we are now searching for an experienced and confident Sales and Service Adviser to work within a dynamic and successful team.

This role would be a great challenge for an experienced professional looking to work within an exciting industry and be involved in building a new Retail Store from the ground up.

This role involves providing options and solutions to a diverse customer base whilst adapting your communication style to your customer effectively.

Previous experience within a Customer facing role where you are providing a detailed service is highly advantageous

Core Responsibilities

Greeting and welcoming all customers, being available at all times to answer their questions and offer assistance, providing excellent customer service in line with CKH’s customer service standards and values. Provide accurate and relevant advice and support to our customers on a wide range of queries, with the intention of resolving questions first time, to a high standard of quality. Manage queries and relating to third parties such as Peterborough City Council in a professional and assertive manner. Sell and market CKH’s products and services, maintaining stock control where relevant. Resolve, log and escalate complaints where required following CKH’s policy and adhering fully to the procedure. Promote ‘self-serve’ options where appropriate, in order to encourage customer responsibility for managing less complex enquiries. To manage, monitor and record the logging and distribution of door entry key fobs accurately, ensuring charges are applied appropriately. Advising customers about maintaining their tenancy agreements and prevention of rent arrears by highlighting both causes and solutions. Carry out ‘sign up’s’ with new residents. Following the approval of change of tenancies, mutual exchanges and decants, ensure deeds of assignment and tenancies are signed in accordance with CKH policies and procedures. Assisting your colleagues whenever and wherever possible, thereby promoting excellent teamwork.To manage and take responsibility for the operational performance of the payment machines, along with the associated balancing of payments. Hours of work are 37 worked over 6 days a week (flexibility is required for weekends and late openings) Requirements

Previous experience of face to face Customer Services is essential (experience within a Bank, Opticians, Money Lending store etc would be considered) Confident and friendly manner Excellent customer service skills Ability to give examples of having provided a high level of face to face customer service in a fast-paced environment. Experience in dealing with challenging customers and how to manage conflict to resolution. Experience of working in a team and on your own initiative. An excellent standard of written and verbal communications that put customers at the heart of what we do. Intermediate level MS Office skills. Experience of handling cash, demonstrating numeracy to an intermediate level. Basic knowledge of data protection principles and customer confidentiality Benefits

We are offering a competitive salary from £17,041 - £18550 pro rata - dependent on knowledge, skills and experience Competitive pension scheme Working hours are 30 worked over our opening hours which are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday 830am - 530pm and Thursdays 830am - 7pm.
