A flourishing logistics company within Northampton are looking to expand their Inbound team with an experienced customer service individual to ensure every customer receives an exceptional experience.

Key Duties:

* Support the Inbound supervisor and the Service manager by ensuring that all reporting procedures are complied with

* To efficiently respond to customer and network requests for European inbound services

* To provide status information and ensure that operational and service deadlines are adhered to

* Ensure supplier compliance of standard operating procedures to fit with their products and rules

* Maintain quality standards and excellent customer service

* Translate, analyse and deliver customer requirements through effective operations and service

* Manage suppliers effectively to minimise cost

* Ensure that profit is maximised at all opportunities without compromising quality

* To liaise with other departments in Northampton and the UK as well as other branches in the network ensuring good working relations

* Liaison with National Transport suppliers to establish and maintain status information of shipments

* Raising haulier liability letters in the event of Discrepancies in the delivery

* To take accountability for outstanding order lists -audit and action as per network rules

* Active report management

* Purchase order booking

The successful candidate:

* 2 years' experience in a European Road Operations

* Strong customer service experience

* Good geographical knowledge

* Experience of working in a fast paced and dynamic environment

* Ability to work under pressure
