FINTEC recruit is seeking a Data Protection and Compliance Coordinator working in the insurance sector. This is a permanent position with salary £25,000 to £30,000


* Advisory role on insurance compliance and anti-money laundering legislation

* To be the focal point of contact for compliance and external audits

* Coordinate and act upon data breaches in line with policies

* To assist with audits in line with ISO 27001 and general ISO accreditations

* Familiar with Landlord compliance and the (SRA) Solicitors Regulation Authority.

* Assist in compliance processes and monitor regulatory requirements for the group

* Undertake risk assessments and compile reports

Experience and Skills required for the Data Protection and Compliance Coordinator role:

* Minimum of two years' compliance experience within an Insurance brokerage or related financial services environment

* Working knowledge of the financial services/general insurance market

* Good working awareness of UK regulations, including the FCA Handbook, AML, GDPR and TCF requirements together with their implications upon business activities

* An understanding of SRA requirements would be beneficial
