Description:
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Regional SHEQ Advisor to join a globally recognised company who cover many disciplines. The purpose of a SHEQ Advisor is to maintain the existing certification requirements of ISO 9001 and to provide an independent review of the Company risk management process for all business streams.

Key Responsibilities:

* Maintain QHS&E systems, policies and procedures.

* Ensuring 100% compliance to the required standards and that all contractual, company and statutory requirements are met.

* Verifying the implementation and operation of the Quality and HSE management systems for all areas of the business.

* Undertaking internal and external audits of manufacturing suppliers and subcontractors in the UK and Europe.

* Develop an annual company audit program and ensure 100% compliance.

* Conduct integrated QHSE audits of Group locations and major projects.

* Develop annual budgets for QHSE.

* Review & help to develop QHSE competence standards & individual competence across the company.

* Monitor changes to legislation and assess the impact on the business.

* Undertake the Group's Management Review process.

* Identify and facilitate continuous improvement opportunities and monitor progress.

* Prepare quarterly reports for the company.

Person Specification:

* The role requires a NEBOSH qualified (or equivalent) individual with preferably with experience of Oil and Gas, BASEEFA, UVDB and AEMT.

* Lead auditor qualifications in 9001, 14001 and 18001.

* A working knowledge of the requirements of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 as applicable to an industrial engineering environment providing service and manufacturing excellence to customers worldwide.

Desirable:

* Environmental qualification.

* Confined Space.

* First Aid

* CDM

* Demonstrate leadership managing multi sites and major projects.

* Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative management style.

* Excels at operating in a fast paced environment.

* Ability to deal with Customers effectively whilst promoting a strong company image.

Experience:

* At least 10 years' experience of implementing and maintaining management systems for quality, health & safety and environment.

* Experience of multi-site SHEQ management.

* Demonstrated experience of Change Management.

* Engineering/Manufacturing/Waste water experience.

General Requirements:

* Driving license and passport

* Prepared to travel as a significant part of the role.

* A hands on approach and coach individuals as required.

* Courteous and professional.

* Discretion and confidentiality at all times.

* Willingness to work beyond standard hours when required.
