Description:
Bid Coordinator

Polar Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of a prestigious IT client for a Bid Coordinator to be responsible for supporting the delivery of IT Maintenance bids. The Bid Coordinator will work closely with sales and bid teams to coordinate the bid life cycle from end to end, whilst working collaboratively with external customers in delivery to expected outcomes and timescales.

Responsibilities

* Establish an excellent working relationship with sales and bid teams

* Contribute to service improvement projects, to increase quality and standardization of service within the bid team.

* Through the bid delivery process ensure that work is effectively work distributed within the team to enable consistent and effective output.

* Support the bid team in the following areas:

* New quotes

* Adding contracts to the billing system

* Contract amendments

* Site surveys

* Invoicing

* Subcontractor pricing & negotiations

* Subcontractor renewals & processing PO's

* Updating price files within Excel

* Be an escalation point within the bid team to review any contractual changes to ensure commerciality and consistency across contracts and SLA's

Essential Skills & Experience

* Previous experience in a Bid Coordinator or similar role.

* Experience within Technology/IT/Services bids desirable.

* Advanced Excel skills.

* Ability to work well under pressure and to follow agreed processes.

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including strong documentation skills.

* Commitment to exceptional customer service

* Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships and support team members to achieve maximum performance and continual improvement

* Flexible attitude towards work; working additional hours at short notice to meet business needs if required.
