Description:
Nothing But Healthcare are currently recruiting for a Private Hospital in Northampton, Northamptonshire for a Theatre Practitioner to join their team of staff in their Theatre department. The role is working in partnership with one of the biggest Private Hospital Organisations in the UK.

 

Fulltime permanent role 

Shifts will cover Monday-Saturday 8am - 8pm.

Salary: £30,000.00 per annum 

 

You will need to meet the following Criteria:

-Registered Practitioner with NMC or HPC registration

-Approved/recognised anaesthetic course

-Good interpersonal and communication skills

-Ability to work as part of a team

-ILS

-To have completed or be working towards external / internal Advanced Scrub Practitioner Course.

-Basic competence and intended/ actual qualification in Endoscopic Care and Decontamination and/or Operators Course in Decontamination.

-Knowledge of appropriate standards and external bodies

-Experience in working in partnership with consultants to deliver clinical care.

-Experience of applying clinical reasoning skills across a range and varied patient case mix and competent across a range of skills (Desirable)

 

 

 

Role and responsibilities:

-To provide quality planned care for patients during their peri operative phase of care

-To support and assist in the management and organisation of care provision within the Operating Department

-Assist in the delivery of patient care

-Contribute to quality improvement

-Develop and enhance   the skills and knowledge of others and self

-Promote best evidence-based practice within own scope of practice

-Apply legislation, policies and procedures correctly
