Description:
B2C Digital Marketing Manager (Events): An experienced and adaptable B2C Digital Marketing Manager with experience of generating ticket sales for large scale, mass participation events is required to develop and lead the marketing strategy for Silverstone, the home of the British Grand Prix and a globally recognised brand with a glorious heritage!

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and delivering Silverstone's marketing campaigns for all major public events held at the circuit each year working closely with the Head of Events and Commercial Director. The ideal candidate will have previous budget responsibility experience and, through the implementation of a blend of innovative and tried and tested online marketing techniques, will be well-versed in generating online interest in a range of large, diverse events.

As part of ambitious, newly developed plans Silverstone have embarked on an evolutionary transformation of the venue with numerous other revenue streams coming on line - including a purpose-built hotel, Silverstone Experience visitor attraction and commercial growth outside of motor sport. Alongside the famous Silverstone circuit, the company operates a highly successful fast-paced events and leisure business with a commercial and people orientated culture.

During the year the business can employ anywhere from 150 to 550 people depending on the event - at last year's British Grand Prix over 340,000 "fans" attended.

Key Responsibilities

*Increase ticket sales for a diverse range of events through the use of B2C digital marketing strategies and techniques

*Create and monitor marketing and brand awareness campaigns in line with the Silverstone brand

*Identify key target audiences, managing and segmenting data, identifying gaps

*Develop CRM strategies for each campaign and coordinate CRM activity including communication emails

*

*Coordinate the production and distribution of digital advertising

*Analysis of ROI against activity and sales trends for each event achieving revenue targets and optimising budget spend

Qualifications and experience

*Proven success in a B2C event ticket sales environment

*Digital marketing and PR experience in an event environment with some experience of marketing large scale events

*Understanding of all the components of the marketing strategy, particularly digital media and CRM and how to effectively combine these elements

*Previous successful experience using social media in a commercial B2C environment.

*Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities to meet deadlines

*Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communications skills with strong writing, proofing and editorial skills - excellent attention to detail

*Flexible approach to working hours, including weekends and some evenings
