A vacancy has arisen for a Health and Safety Advisor, with a background knowledge of Electrical Install and Management, working across multiple sites within the business.


What you’ll be doing day to day  Raising the profile of Health, Safety & Environment on site Making general assessments of how sites and operatives are working and behaving in relation to HSE working practices Ensuring compliance to nmcn HSE procedures and promoting best practices Offering HSE advice to operatives and managers Entries to and Updating of Safety Net Promoting our culture of integrating HSE considerations to every day processes Undertaking first line accident and incident investigations to identify causes and opportunities for improvement with relevant managers Accompanying nmcn managers and other safety professionals on site tours to promote best practices Attend weekly SHEQ meetings, production of data action log and issued weekly RAMS quantity and adherence to checks Contribution to the continual development of SHEQ strategy  

The experience we’re looking for in a candidate  IOSH or NEBOSH qualified is essential Knowledge of Low Voltage Electrical Systems (advantageous) Ability to prioritise a varied workload and demonstrate good time management to comply with deadlines Able to work in a busy environment under pressure Willingness to travel across different nmcn sites Excellent communication skills (email/phone/face to face) Possess a “can do” attitude and provide to support to other members of the team as required High level of accuracy and attention to detail Excellent IT skills
