We work in partnership and collaboration with our customers, to deliver major built environment and critical national infrastructure projects across the UK. Our specialist engineering and construction teams bring multi-sector innovation and technical skill – from building and highways, to large-scale water networks and treatment plants.


A vacancy has arisen for a ICA or Electrical biased Project Manager, working within our Clean Water workstream. You will predominantly be responsible for overseeing all activities, to ensure that the projects are delivered at the standards nmcn are accustomed to working towards.


What you’ll be doing day to day Overseeing all activities and staff to ensure that design, procurement, financial control and site activities are managed to the highest standards in all areas of delivery  Align the client’s direction and needs Interpret contract commitments Manage client/contractor expectations within the context of nmcn’s and their commitment to continuing their longstanding relationship with this client ensuring that the key deliverables within each stage of the projects are being administered to the highest quality  Ensuring proper interpretation of the design briefs are established and the delivered solutions meet and exceed the expectations of the client  Working with the client to enable the most efficient and cost-effective approach in delivering outstanding projects while maintaining the highest standards of health, safety, quality  Assisted by the Commercial manager you will demonstrate and develop and financial controls that detail profit and loss and detailed cost to complete reports for each project within the programme  Development of strong team working relationships  Ensuring all project KPI`s and KPM`s are achieved Developing accurate project programmes and cost forecasts from Gate 1 Ensuring compliance to NMCN & STW procedures  Manage office and site staff requirements and resourcing against multiple live projects  Cost risk management Produce safe and efficient sites Ownership of the entire project, design, costs, programme, documentation, site activities, procurement etc Safe and efficient delivery of projects Bring innovative ideas The experience we’re looking for in a candidate 

Experienced Project Manager Water industry experience essential Degree educated or equivalent in Instrumentation and Control Engineering or Electrical Engineering and/ or working towards chartered status Excellent working knowledge of ICA and Electrical Engineering with a good appreciation of Mechanical engineering Commercial and contractual awareness (NEC3/4) A high level of diplomacy and customer focused  The personal attributes we're looking for in a candidate
