JOB TITLE: College Campus Officer

LOCATION: Stamford

SALARY: £9.63 per hour + statutory holiday pay

QRS is working on behalf of an established Further Education College within the Lincolnshire area and is looking for a College Campus and Community Experience Officer to work 2 - 3 days per week.

The hours are 8.30am - 5pm term time. This role is for an immediate start.

The Campus and Community Experience Officer will ensure a safe, secure and welcoming learning environment for staff, students and visitors, liaising with individuals and teams within the College, agencies and community groups.

Main Accountabilities

*Monitor student behaviour, intervening and managing behaviours when appropriate, promoting a positive College ethos at all times.

*Reacting immediately to incidents and disturbances. Use a range of interventions to resolve conflict successfully including effective mediation strategies.

*Supervise students at break times, ensuring students are respectful of their surroundings, staff and of each other.

*Supervise the arrival and departure of students travelling on the home-to-College transport.

*Provide First Aid cover to students, staff and visitors and carry out emergency procedures alongside College Policies.

*Be a member of the emergency response team for all incidents and to respond as a member of the fire evacuation team.
