Middletons has successfully secured an investment of £3.9m with a large institutional investor to fund a national store roll-out and put Middletons on the map as the premier retail destination in our sector.

As Area Manager you will be a hands on, commercial and results driven leader responsible for successfully managing and supporting six specific stores in and around the Midlands region, growing to up to fourteen stores in two years’ time. You will be passionate about coaching and developing your teams to deliver exceptional levels of customer service whilst having the opportunity to grow and progress your own career with an up-and-coming national brand.


Creating a positive and engaging working environment within your stores Setting clear expectations in service, standards and operations Managing profit and loss, budgets, sales forecasting and various other key performance indicators Liaising and networking with the support office, ensuring relationships are established with all key stakeholders Driving compliance to adhere to all policies and procedures Supporting with company events and local marketing Regular communication and meetings with your teams Assisting with ad hoc projects Manage between 30-70 in-store staff Making sure stores are merchandised correctly and looking their best Coach, develop and train team members Review and manage performance of team members ABOUT YOU:

Experience of being an area manager for multiple stores Great communicator Commercially minded with an understanding of P&Ls and budgets Track record of delivering excellence in customer service Resilient and organised Focused on performance management and coaching An inspiring people person who can celebrate and share success Someone who can have fun on the job and keep people smiling We need someone who is professional and positive under pressure, with a “can do” and results driven attitude that inspires respect and motivates others to give their best.
