Cromwell is currently recruiting for a Junior Engineering Technician to join our Engineering department based in Wigston, Leicester.

The Junior Engineering Technician will be required to carry out reactive and preventative maintenance roles on all site equipment. The candidate must have a solid background and understanding of both mechanical and electrical components/systems.

This is a permanent role running in line with an Apprenticeship Programme to achieve a Level 3 Engineering Maintenance Qualification.

Close working and assistance to the shift engineer performing varied tasksPreventative maintenance activities in accordance with OEM specificationsReactive maintenance and trouble shootingDaily shift cover to support the operationWorking to achieve business, personal and engineering KPI’sSafe working in accordance with all UK laws & regulationsWhat you'll need to succeed

GCSE qualifications in English and MathsCapable of reading, following and understanding electrical and mechanical drawingsFault finding experience within a “live” environment is desirablePassion for engineeringStrong communication skillsWorking Hours

3 Shift Patterns (Morning Shift , Afternoon Shift 1400 - 2200, Night Shift 1
