£21-26k + £8k Performance Bonus + Benefits Granta Design is looking for a pro-active Account Manager with a passion for Materials Science and Engineering Design to join Prof. Mike Ashby and our International Education Team based in Cambridge, UK. The Education Team develops, promotes, sells, and supports the use of Granta’s CES EduPack and CES Selector software at universities and colleges worldwide.

This position will involve around: 90% business related focus and 10% technical engagement and support.

The role offers opportunities to: work with leading academics; make a real difference to materials and engineering teaching; develop your business, technical, and soft skills; strengthen your personal network; and have fun!

The RoleKey responsibilities:

Account Management: operate as the main point of contact for all matters related to educational institutions in your territory, build and maintain strong technical and business relationships with our academic customers through phone calls and emails, arrange meetingsMarketing Support and Inside Sales: work directly with the Development Management and Marketing teams on various campaigns to build sales pipeline such as workshops and webinars, respond promptly and proactively to marketing leads and qualify them thoroughly through phone calls, set up software licenses and ensure smooth license renewals of Granta’s academic resources Customer Support: provide online technical support to universities in your territory Requirements

The ideal candidate will have: A passion for Materials and Engineering A Degree in Materials Science or an Engineering subject with a strong link to materials Fluent spoken and written English (German, French or Spanish helpful) Enjoys connecting people and networking An ability to identify and develop opportunities i.e. founded a new society whilst at university Strong interpersonal and organisational skills Benefits
