As Regional VP UK you will lead, plan, organise and control the business resources for our UK businesses GPS PE Pipes, Durapipe and Philmac with the objective of strengthening their leadership on the local market and achieving or exceeding the agreed annual profit targets while developing the business to exploit longer term commercial opportunities in line with the EMEA Strategy.

You will ensure smooth coordination between all functions in the UK; you will act as legal representative of UK EMEA legal entities. The position is based in GPS PE Pipes, Huntingdon and needs frequent travel to other UK sites Durapipe and Philmac (Lenham, Cannock), as well as visiting customers.

Key elements of the role

To lead, inspire and develop the Teams & the Business

Lead the Change to support a new organisation fully “integrated” within the matrix organisation

The role will therefore lead in a matrix organisation jointly with the functional Directors all the functions: Manufacturing, Supply chain, Purchasing, Innovation, IT etc.

Flexibility will be key in order to adapt to the different options with a strong entrepreneurial spirit (Commercial mindset)

The job holder will be Member of the EMEA Leadership team and will be supported by the EMEA Team for every function especially with regard to Operations, Sales, Marketing and Innovation, HR and Finance.

Requirements

Knowledge requirements

A University Degree (Business or Economics) with min. 10 years of experience in strategic and commercial management, business development, marketing and branding strategies, preferably gained in a UK construction or similar industrial (manufacturing) environment.

Functional competencies

Demonstrated experience in large-scale, organization-wide change management and transformation

Effective leadership and change management skills - Proven credibility drawn from previous experience working with both Senior Management and operational staff

Excellent communication and listening skills; being confident, resilient and comfortable with communicating at all levels

Proven experience in pull and specification sales

Ability to put in place a digital strategy, in collaboration with the Functional VP Sales & Marketing

Highly analytical mindset, but also creativity to seek, encourage and find innovative approaches

Strong affinity with human resources management

Long standing experience working in matrix organizations

High energy, action oriented, agile in changing and growing environments
