SOFTWARE SALESPERSON/BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE

NEWMARKET - SUFFOLK

Salary: £25-30,000 base + commission ( OTE £35-40k+)

Duration: Full-Time/Permanent - Flexible working hours

Our fantastic client , based in Newmarket , is looking to expand their sales and marketing team by adding a Software Sales Executive . In this position, you will be trusted to guide new clients through a creative and technically demanding sales process .

In this exciting opportunity, you will be meeting with clients in the UK and potentially abroad and will manage the full sales process from initial enquiry, quotations and negotiations and contracts, through to renewals.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

* Proactively seeking new business opportunities

* Managing potential clients through the sales process - this may include handling the initial enquiry, providing information and demonstrations, quotations, negotiation, contracts

* Liaising with the technical team regarding costing and feasibility

* Mapping client business requirements

* Preparing comprehensive introduction pack for project

* Upselling to existing clients

* Handling renewals

* Reporting on activities, progress and forecasts

The successful candidate will:

* Have a good understanding of technology and IT systems

* Have exceptional problem-solving skills

* Have great numerical skills

* Be an excellent communicator - verbal and written

* Be logical and analytical

* Hold a Full UK driving license and access to own vehicle
