Our client is looking for an experienced Sales Support to work across all areas of the business with a particular emphasis on providing support in Sales Administration. You will develop a strong understanding on the residual market in order to provide support to the wider sales team.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

Accountabilities (personal area of control or decision making and what they monitor)

* Producing sales 1-pagers that will assist the sales team to sell the wide range of products we have to offer across a number of different categories

* Help to build strong relationships with customers in order to develop a full contact strategy across all business functions

* Support the sales team with day to day administration tasks such as NLF's, rework documents and processing of sales orders

* Ensuring ongoing development of category, market and competitor knowledge through utilising industry networking software, trade press and physical visits

* Assist in creating targeted offers for both existing and new categories utilising all stock on the floor

* Sharing market intelligence with key stakeholders within the business

* Assist in analysing sales data in order to identify sales opportunities within account portfolio

* Ensuring the CRM system is up to date with customer details, meeting reports and email / phone interaction

* Working to the minimum standards of Commercial Trainee as set out by Head of / Team leader

Responsibilities (support function, with ultimate decision making and monitoring located elsewhere)

* Ensuring governance procedures are adhered to

* Supporting other business functions on ad hoc requests in order to ensure the wider business objectives are met

* Producing and developing internal documents that help support the sales teams, for example weekly journey planner, weekly figures

* Lease with members of the senior management team in order to highlight new sales opportunities
