We are looking for a SEN Secondary Teacher for students with SEMH in a specialist secure unit. The school is a specialist secure unit providing education and care to female students with social, emotional and mental health issues.

The school is supportive and offers on going support and training in a unique and rewarding environment.

About the Role

* Design and Technology Teacher

* Planning and Teaching Design and Technology lessons

* Class sizes are small and include specialist support

* School offers ongoing internal training

* Uphold all safeguarding procedures and behaviour policies

Key Skills

* QTS or extensive teaching experience

* Successful class room teaching experience

* Have previous experience working within a SEN environment or have always wanted to

* Experience of working with pupils with SEMH

* Experience teaching KS3 and KS4 pupils Design and Technology

* Ability to teach resistant materials

* Certificates to use appropriate machinery or hand tools
