Are you currently studying for an engineering degree? We have the perfect opportunity for you this summer.

Our client is looking to take on 2 paid Summer Interns in Bedford, who will help support our research and development programme. You will be working for a technology focused company with a clear and ambitious growth plan who are understandably proud of their roots.

The Role

As an Engineering Intern, you will gain hands on experience of working on projects with an experienced and supportive team of engineers.

The position of Engineering Intern will be for a minimum of 6 weeks during the summer and will attract a pay rate of £300 to £350 per week.

Our client is a respected leader in the development, manufacture and supply of occupational health and environmental monitoring instrumentation. With a history dating back to 1799 they have changed significantly over the past 200 years plus, yet they remain perfectly placed to offer reliable, trustworthy and credible solutions for Occupational and Environmental monitoring or noise and dust - with over 40 years of innovation in noise monitoring, and 60 years in dust monitoring.

Person requirements

The ideal Summer Engineering Intern will have / be:

- Expecting to obtain at least a 2:2 in an engineering based degree

- A desire to learn, discover and question the world around them

- A proactive self-starter with problem solving skills

- Able to collaborate, communicate well and share ideas with colleagues

- Able to work for a minimum of 6 weeks between June and September 2019
