Receptionist / Showroom Host - Dealership

Working for the UK's number one independent 4x4 dealership trading in the world's leading automotive marques for over 40 years.

As a Receptionist / Showroom Host, you will be the first point of contact for all customers and visitors on site. As well as greeting visitors, you will carry out a variety of daily administrative and housekeeping tasks relating to ensuring the showroom is presented to the highest standard.

Ideally located - Essex, Basildon, Chelmsford, Rayleigh, Brentwood, Wickford, Danbury, Writtle.

Salary: upto £18k

Hours: 36.5 hours per week (Shifts)

Early Shift: 8am - 4:30pm.

Late Shift: 11am - 6:30pm.

1 in every 3-4 weekends: Saturday 9am - 6pm. Sunday 10am - 5pm.

The Role

* As a Receptionist / Showroom Host you will be responsible for ensuring telephone calls are answered promptly and directed to the appropriate department.

* Ensure the reception desk is staffed at all times.

* Greet visitors on arrival.

* Assess when to engage with customers and when to leave them to their own devices.

* Communicate clearly and effectively with all customers.

* Talk to customers to build rapport and find out what assistance or information is required.

* Ensure the refreshment area is kept fully stocked at all times.

* Ensure all sales offices are kept tidy, stocked with the correct paperwork and fully functional at all times.

The Candidate

* Previous administrative background desirable.

* Possess excellent communication skills with the ability to demonstrate a successful blend of confidence and assertiveness.

* Be clearly spoken, warm, empathetic and friendly with an approachable and professional manner.

* Able to use Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) to an expert level.
