Venue Support Technician

THE VENUE

Puttshack is a brand new, ground-breaking technology focused social entertainment concept, combining a revolutionary mini golf activity with the finest hospitality, food & beverage and award winning design.

THE ROLE

We need a highly motivated Technician who will perform a variety of facilities support duties either in autonomy or as part of a team, to ensure the smooth delivery and maintenance of the venue's tech-driven gaming creations.

The successful candidate will take instruction from the central Technical Services Team and venue management to ensure all our gaming equipment is operating to the highest possible standard and to maintain an incredible guest experience for every single game.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Conduct critical daily audits to ensure the agreed brand standard is maintained.

* Provide break fix support during operational hours and detailed maintenance out of operational hours

* Liaise with both the management team, central Technical Services and guests about any faults they experience.

* Utilise expertise to help with general maintenance within the venue where necessary.

* Control a spares stock and provide clear analytical reporting.

* Manage a detailed issues log and complete swift repair, when needed.

* Be proactive in analysis of issues and take corrective action.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

* Ability to demonstrate practical and mechanical awareness and a passion for IT and mechanical engineering

* Ability to talk about technology in simple terms and coordinate the reporting of any issues as escalation to the central Technical Services team.

* Have a good understanding of a modern IT environment and be a confident operator of MS Windows based system, and experience of Bluetooth, and wireless infrastructure.

* Familiarity with The Internet Of Things

* Logical thinking, excellent problem solving with strong analytical skills

* Good time management, well organised with the ability to prioritise

* Able and happy working flexible shift patterns - the venue is a 7 day operation and open morning until late

* Able to work in confined places and access components in restricted access locations

BACKGROUND

* A vocational or academic background in a Mechanical or Electronic discipline

* Experience in technical support or Field Service advantageous

* Proven background in understanding technological and mechanical problem solving
