Analytical Engineer - Medical Devices - Cambridge

A growing Medical Devices organisation is currently looking for an Analytical Engineer to take up a Physicist role and help with the development of a few different Medical Devices.

Based in Cambridge, you will be working with other Analytical Engineers, Physicists and Scientists in the development of life-saving and life-changing Medical Devices. You will be specifically applying your coding skills (ideally in Python and MATLAB) and using simulations tools such as Zemax and ANSYS to help with the development of complex Medical Devices.

Ideally, you will have prior Medical Devices industry experience, however we are open to people from other complex fields as long as they have strong numerical and practical experience as a Analytical Engineer or Physicist.

It is expected that you hold a degree within a physics, life sciences, computer sciences, mathematical or engineering field along with a few years of industry experience. If you also hold a PhD, this would be advantageous but not essential.

This role will allow you to work on some of the most forward-thinking medical technologies while collaborating with some of the best minds in the field, both within and outside of the organisation.

Apart from the chance to drive the sector forward with new ideas, you will also receive continual career development, an excellent starting salary (with yearly reviews), a yearly bonus, pension and other benefits. Also, if needed, relocation assistance is available.

I expect a lot of interest in this role, so please make an application now or risk missing out.

Newton Colmore Consulting is a specialist recruitment company within the Medical Devices, Scientific Engineering, Data Science, Machine Learning, Scientific Software, Robotics, Science, Electronics Design, New Product Design, Human Factors, Regulatory Affairs, Quality Assurance and Field Service Engineering sectors.
