£29,636 - £33,799 per annum pro rata

An exciting opportunity has arisen for two qualified and registered Occupational Therapists to come and join our Adult Community Team West Locality based in Kings Lynn

We are a supportive and friendly team working with people with complex needs in the community and are seeking Occupational Therapists with enthusiasm and energy who are positive about working innovatively with colleagues to improve service delivery. We have recently introduced the Living Well approach with its emphasis on OT core skills of enabling and maintaining independence in the home environment.

Experience of working with property adaptations, equipment, moving and handling in a community setting is an advantage. You may be asked to be involved in a range of initiatives working with Housing colleagues or supporting new projects and ways of working.

We can offer the opportunity to work and learn in an experienced team with regular supervision, regular Reflective Team sessions, specific OT Peer Group and opportunities for continuing professional development.

You will need excellent communication, record keeping and keyboard skills, along with experience of working with vulnerable people who require care and support. You will require an understanding of the use of personal budgets. In addition, you should have a commitment to excellent customer service and an ability to manage a high turnover of work in an organised and efficient way. You will have a strong commitment to multi- disciplinary working and be familiar with the departments’ eligibility criteria’ under the Care Act 2014
