Occupational Therapist 42641 SSHE

Rebecca House, North Walsham

£26,832 - £30,601 per annum (Scale I/J)

33.5 hours per week

Permanent contract

It’s an exciting time to join us in Adult Social Services. We have some bold changes happening in Norfolk and we want to find the very best social care staff to be part of our future. We will be at the forefront of the ‘Living Well’ roll out and the implementation of the 3 Conversations Model and its’ strengths-based approach to social care.

We are looking for skilled practitioners who are keen to work innovatively, strive for improvements, and contribute to the change agenda, particularly in influencing the landscape of social care for the future.

We have a part time, permanent post for a qualified and registered Occupational Therapist in Northern Locality to be based at our North Walsham office. Ideally, we are looking for a Level 2 but would consider a Level 1 with relevant experience. We are a supportive and friendly team working with those with complex needs in the community and are looking for an Occupational Therapist with enthusiasm and energy who is positive about working innovatively with colleagues to improve service delivery.

Experience of working with property adaptations, equipment and moving and handling in a community setting is an advantage. You could be asked to be involved in a range of initiatives including working in Prisons, with Housing colleagues or supporting new projects and ways of working. We are able to offer the opportunity to work and learn in an experienced team with regular supervisions and opportunities for continuing professional development.
