Location: Chigwell

Work Pattern: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, 3 hours per day

Locally known as Douglas Allen in East London and Essex we also incorporate Ward & Partners in Kent, Cubitt & West in Surrey, Sussex and Hampshire, Hadley’s of London and Pittis on the Isle of Wight. So altogether over 100 branches!

We need a Part Time Administrator to administratively support one of our Top Performing Mortgage Advisors in the business!

Duties will include:

•Keeping our clients fully aware of the progress of their mortgage

•Liaising between Lenders, Solicitors, Sales Progressors, Mortgage Advisors and Residential Branch Managers

•Maintaining a compliant service in line with the Financial Services Authority and our obligations to/from clients under the Data Protection Act.

•Supporting the Mortgage Advisor with Compliance tasks

•Assisting the Mortgage Advisor to ‘package their customer files ready for submission

•Communicating (both by email and telephone) with our customers.

•Updating records contained on our computer software

•Accurate filing of our paper based files, both while in progress and maintaining an accountable/traceable dead filing system

We need you to be:

•Professional and business-like

•Have exceptional customer service skills

•Excellent Telephone manner combined with a high standard of written grammar

•Able to problem-solve and remain calm under pressure

•Motivated, tenacious and energetic

•Hard working and focused

•An understanding of the mortgage industry would be an advantage
