Account Handler - Risk Management Practice

Location - Norwich

About the Company:

A Lloyds Broker who is a global leader in insurance broking and risk management with a vast international presence. They help clients to anticipate, quantify, and more fully understand the range of risks they face.

Position Overview:

A number of vacancies for experienced Account Handlers/Junior staff / Entry level staff to be involved in placing agreed classes and administering property & casualty insurance programmes.

This role will provide exposure to some large multinational clients with the opportunity to lead and be the main point of contact help maintain and continue to build strong relationships with our clients. Part of the reason we are successful. As this role will be working on a portfolio of multinational clients, it may require some travel.


·Working with specialist brokers and/or Account Executives to manage renewal strategy activities and placement for agreed classes

·Leading programme design activities in conjunction with specialist brokers

·Conducting insurer negotiations in conjunction with specialist brokers

·Planning the service team's work relating to upcoming renewals and implementing timetables

·Managing, reviewing and interpreting renewal data

·Signing off on market presentations

·Producing all renewal communications to the client including; Market Quotations, Renewal Reports, Renewal Presentations, Transparency and Disclosure Documents

·Acting as a focal point for communications with the client regarding the insurance programme

·Partnering with Client Executives to participate in new business initiatives

·Undertaking technical insurance projects on behalf of team or whole department

·Leading risk identification process in area of speciality


·Previous experience of Corporate / Commercial Property and/or Casualty insurance ideal

·Proven client facing experience and strong written & verbal communication skills

·Competent in Microsoft Office and all relevant business applications

·Numerical and analytical skills with intermediate use of MS-Excel preferred
