Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant required for SEMH specialist school in Ely.

Do you have a great sense of humour? Do you have a passion for making a difference in the lives of young people? Are you looking for an exciting, challenging but very rewarding role?

If you have answered yes then this is the role for you!

The school provides education and support for boys aged 5-16 years old with social, emotional and mental health needs. The school boasts excellent purpose built facilities including a swimming pool, sports facilities and include other exciting curriculum activities such as a forest school. Class sizes are small with 6 pupils, teacher and at least two members of additional support.

Your role:

* To inspire and engage pupils in their learning

* Support the class room teacher

* Work with pupils in small groups or 1:1

The school offer further training, qualifications and support for staff including STEP de-escalation training.
