Salary: £23,000-£27,000 depending on experience + quarterly bonus

Our client is looking for an experienced sales person or fleet insurance broker to join their fast paced and ever growing team.

The role:

* Building relationships with large clients

* Account management

* Securing renewals

* Place all types of commercial/fleet/motor trade risks within the market

* Communicating with cease of large organisations

* Identify opportunities for existing policyholders to benefit from a commercial/fleet/motor trade policy

* Where necessary, visit clients and explore their commercial requirements, identifying any potential for other business and notifying the relevant departments of these opportunities

* Identify and pursue marketing opportunities to generate leads and to write new commercial polices

* Liaise with the rest of the team, providing assistance where necessary

* Establish and maintain relationships with existing and new clients, insurers or providers and brokers

* Provide a reliable, effective and efficient service to our network of brokers

* Ensure quotations are logged in and out, with administration well organised and accounts settled accordingly

* Report to line manager and keep informed of any backlogs or delays and any disputes or issues that may arise

* Handling of customer complaints in accordance with company procedures

* Raise debits and credits in an accurate and timely manner

* Maintaining FCA compliance at all times

* Complying with all company policies and procedures, including health and safety procedures

* Carrying out any other functions deemed necessary for the effective operation of the department

Essential Requirements:

The Candidate:

* Experience in Business Commercial Insurance & Fleet insurance is essential

* Excels in Customer Service with an abundance of proven experience

* Is computer literate, with the ability to create and update computer records, including the use of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook, and generate reports as and when necessary.

* Will have the skills to effectively manage their own day, is self-motivated, can think on their own and decide what is a priority

* Is happy working in a target based environment, with a clear understanding of the need to achieve target in order to grow the business

* Can organise attendance at a variety of business events as and when required in order to maintain relationships with insurers, brokers and clients

* Must have a full driving licence and access to their own transport as possible client visits required
