Description:
Part Time Support Worker – Fixed Term Maternity Cover Contract

(for an initial period of 9 months)

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to work as part of the management team and alongside our current senior support worker to develop all areas of practice and overall contribute to positive outcomes for children and young people and ensure a high standard of care.

You need to be empathetic and energetic with the ability to provide stability through a caring, nurturing, thoughtful and therapeutic approach.

This challenging work requires energy and resilience, but can be extremely rewarding.

The ability to work a rota shift pattern is essential as this post may involve evening and weekend work.

Note: An additional £38.50 is paid for each sleep-in duty undertaken.

You will also be expected to be part of the ‘on call’ system for the home.

Essential Information

Hours: 17 hours per week

The current salary scale for this post is £8,654 to £8,805 per annum, depending on qualifications (maximum job rate potential is £9,141 per annum which is performance related).

At appointment, the salary will be £8,654 to £8,805 per annum, depending on qualifications.

Interviews for this position will take place on 3rd and 4th June 2019.
