Position: Home Manager/ Care Home Manager

Location: Norwich

Salary: Circa £35'000 + BONUS!

On behalf of a small, person centred company, I am looking for a Home Manager/ Care Home Manager for their superb care homes in the Norwich area of Norfolk. This is a unique opportunity where you will be given a level of autonomy and flexibility not matched by many other organisations and the ability to work closely with an excellent support network!

The home caters for up to 35 elderly residents with dementia. The home is an older building that has been converted to a high standard and it has a warm, homely atmosphere and it situated near to the Norwich area of Norfolk. The home is currently going through change management and is in need of improvement, therefore my client requires a strong Manager ideally with experience of improving a home. You will be given a great level of autonomy and flexibility in how you run the home and my client (The MD) is very much looking for the Care Home Manager to work 'with them' almost building a partnership in this project as opposed to being told what to do!

Your role as Care Home Manager will include but will not be limited to recruitment of staff, appraisals, disciplinaries, supervisions, budgeting, devising staff rota's, liaising with CQC, GP's, Social Workers and residents' loved ones. You will identify and address any areas that need improving and be able to build relationships with CQC and local authorities.

The Care Home Manager will receive a salary of circa £35'000 + BONUS, depending on experience and the salary will be reviewed at regular intervals plus an excellent bonus scheme! Generous annual leave is also on offer!

In order to be considered for this fantastic opportunity the ideal candidate will have experience of managing a care home, although an experienced Deputy Care Home Manager would also be considered. You will hold the Leadership/ Management qualification in Care Services or equivalent. You MUST possess excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), a passion for person centred care, knowledge of the needs of older people and knowledge of CQC and the care home environment, be smartly presented and highly organised. Preferably you will have experience of troubleshooting or change management.

This position would suit either a Home Manager, Care Home Manager, Registered Manager, Registered Home Manager, Care Manager, Service Manager looking for a new challenge or a highly experienced and ambitious Deputy Manager, Deputy Home Manager looking to make that next step up in order to further their career.
