Senior Office Administrator - Bury St Edmunds

HOURS; 30-40 hours a week (flexibility required)

SALARY; £12 per hour, £24,960 (FTE)

28 DAYS ANNUAL LEAVE INCLUDING BANK HOLIDAYS + COMPANY PENSION SCHEME

Hales Jobs are recruiting on behalf of our well-established client who are currently seeking a professional and pro-active Office Administrator to join their knowledgeable team. This is a varied role within a fast-paced environment meaning previous experience in an office environment/administration role is essential.

The ideal candidate will be well-organised and have excellent communication skills, ideally with experience in business to business liaison. As you will be dealing with an array of individuals across the business, as well as external clients, a high level of interpersonal skills and professionalism is required.

Duties Include

* Communicating on all levels regularly with clients/colleagues/suppliers.

* Liaising with staff to organise jobs and schedule daily workloads.

* Confirming orders working to strict deadlines.

* Maintaining a database, ensuring the most up to date information is on file.

* Collating completed order details from suppliers and sub-contractors.

* Occasional minute taking and meeting & greeting of visitors.

The Applicant

* Previous office or administration experience.

* Well organised and forward thinking.

* Excellent telephone manner and computer skills.

* A flexible approach with a 'can do' attitude.

* Ability to prioritise workload, sticking to set timeframes.

* Strong attention to detail.

Required Experience

* Competent computer skills. Familiarity with Word, Excel and databases.

* Previous administration role or experience.
