Near Bury St Edmunds

£8.50 - £9.00 per hour

We are currently recruiting for an immediately available Receptionist/Administrator for our client based near to Bury St Edmunds. This role will begin on a temporary basis, although there is genuine possibility of a longer term role. Our client needs flexibility with working hours, initially afternoons Monday to Friday from 12noon - 5.30pm, but morning cover can be required for holidays and sickness etc.

The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for all visitors and will guarantee the smooth running of the reception area, providing administrative support to the business. The role will involve:

* Meeting and greeting all visitors to the site

* Dealing with incoming calls

* Filtering out cold calls

* Relaying messages to the appropriate contact

* Arranging transport for members of staff

* Booking meeting rooms

* Organising refreshments

* Dealing with incoming and outgoing post

* Keeping databases updated

* General administration duties to support various departments

* Keeping Reception area tidy at all times

We are looking for a confident and professional individual, who can work under minimal supervision. This role requires the following skills/aptitudes:

* Excellent communication skills

* The ability to deal with people at all levels

* Confident IT skills, including use of Word, Excel and Powerpoint

* The ability to work under pressure and prioritise a busy workload
