The Client

Our client is a national Residential Developer who build excellent quality homes throughout the country. They are looking for a Senior Site Manager to come and join them on their latest development in Dunstable. This position would be best suited to a Senior Site Manager with good experience at this level already and the ideal candidate would have a Residential Developer background already. Those with housebuilding experience for a smaller contractor will also be considered. Salary is negotiable depending on experience.


* Managing the site, ensuring that work is completed according to set timescales and to budget.

* Ensure high quality standards and organise/manage Site works where needed to ensure that these are achieved.

* Carrying out relevant "toolbox talks" specific to the programmed works and maintain records of these.

* Maintain records of any accidents on site and ensure these are documented correctly.

* Ensure any Risk Assessments are carried out and documented

* Ensure you are fully aware of budgets, costs and other associated requirements with the development.

* Monitor resources and sub-contractors ensuring efficiency and minimising costs where possible.

* Ensure you deliver reports where necessary within agreed timeframes

* Ensure site records are maintained for staff and sub-contractors across all levels, machinery, materials, Health & Safety and more.

Qualifications & Experience

* Previous high-volume Residential Developer experience is essential

* Degree in Construction Management or an equivalent qualification.

* Experience on a development in excess of 150 units is desirable, as well as experience with both traditional build houses and apartment blocks.
