PDSL is looking for software programmer with relevant experience to join our team, which specializes in e-commerce and enterprise portals, the candidate should have extensive knowledge of the software development life cycle, with definite offshore exposure and experience. Reporting directly to line manager at Pragmatic Design Solutions Limited and Line manager will be responsible to determine the daily weekly and monthly deliverables.

You will:

 Design, build, develop and maintain Enterprise Portals, e-commerce applications, be-spoke development & Web based commercial applications.

 Work in a small team and also handle independent responsibilities , to design, build, test and deploy following SDLC norms

 Co-ordinate with GUI Developers for user interface

 Handle Technical and functional documentation

 Support and integrate web based applications.

 Co-ordinate with offshore development teams, guide and monitor the teams on a regular basis.

Other Duties: Carry out any duties which your line manager may reasonably request within the broad parameters of your role.

Reports to:

- You will be reporting to your line manager in Pragmatic Design Solutions Ltd for all your tasks/projects mentioned above

Candidate Soft skills:

• Ability to get involved in all team activities from requirements elaboration, prioritization, design, testing approach to build and deploy

• Strong team player and willingness to share knowledge and best practices

• Working knowledge of the techniques like six thinking hats, brainstorming and role plays

• Have strong conflict resolution skills

.NET 3.5( ), 4.0, C#

Oracle (Database, BI Suite and Retail)

MS SQL Server

Visual Studio 2010 & 2012

MVC 3.0 and 4.0(Razor)

HTML 5, Silverlight, jQuery

JavaScript, Ajax, XML

Database development and optimization

WCF, Web services

Agile Methodology

Angularjs using Bootstrap and nodejs

Experience – What previous experience is required for the role?

Essential:

• Project Management experience would be added advantage.

• Experience with Scrum/Agile methodologies also useful

• Database development skills including design, testing and deployment

• Object Orientated Design and programming

• Windows and Web application development

• Database indexing and optimization

Desirable:

• Significant experience in leading technical teams designing, developing and integrating operational software systems

• Proven ability to work with stakeholders to formulate and agree systems requirements, and advise customers on systems design

• Should have managed a decent team of developers and testers and provided technical guidance and directions

Qualifications

• A university graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or any related field
